I founded Sigra after spending over a decade in and around Defence, followed by seven years building a data and AI consulting practice in the commercial sector. That experience was built as an Army officer, as an adviser to the MOD, and in designing and growing a team capable of meeting clients' complex technology challenges.

I returned to Defence for the nature of the problems. They are complex and consequential, spanning domains and connecting strategic plans to delivered capability.

Most of my military service was in intelligence and operational roles, including deployments to Helmand and to Kabul, where I led the J2 staff in a joint UK-US coalition headquarters. The measure of the work was not simply the quality of the assessment. It was whether it addressed what the commander needed in order to decide.

At KPMG I spent two years inside MOD capability development and programme governance. At Kubrick Group I built a data and AI consulting practice from inception to 100 consultants, designing the operating model, the skills mix and the service offering so that the parts worked together as it grew. The work I valued most was integrating specialists from different disciplines into a capability that solved the client's problem.

This experience informed the view Sigra is built on: capability should be judged by the effect it produces, not the requirements it meets.

Sigra is founder-led. I lead every engagement. For larger pieces of work I team with specialist associates and established firms.
